Light, shaped by form.
Jacobs Elements creates sculptural wooden lighting where material, geometry and light come together.
Each design explores the relationship between light and space, creating objects that are as much about perception as illumination.

Behind the designs
I’m Sven Jacobs, designer and founder of Jacobs Elements. My work explores the relationship between wood, geometry and light, creating sculptural lighting that changes with perspective and its surroundings.
THE PROCESS
From idea to object.
Every design begins with an idea. Through dialogue, exploration and craftsmanship, it takes shape as a distinctive lighting object.
01 — Listen
Every project starts with a conversation. I explore the idea, story or ambition behind it, looking for the essence that can shape the design.
02 — Design
Ideas take form through sketches, geometry and material exploration. I look for the right balance between sculptural expression, light and function.
03 — Realise
Each design is carefully constructed and finished by hand, turning the initial idea into a tangible object that brings its own character to a space.

OUR COMMITMENT
One tree. A lasting impact.

Wood is at the heart of Jacobs Elements. With every lighting piece sold, I aim to give something back to nature by contributing to the planting of a tree.
